Our Mental Health Coaches are psychology graduates trained in empathic listening and evidence-informed helping skills, to facilitate a warm, structured space to understand your challenges and practice specific skills.
Core Scope
Run time-boxed coaching sessions\nDeliver coaching for habits, boundaries, confidence, work stress, and coping routines\nDocument brief session notes and track simple outcomes\nIdentify scope limits and escalate/refer to Counsellors when needed
Scope Boundaries
Coaches do not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis, or clinical risk management\nFollow SereneMind escalation pathways
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Work:\n- Implement coaching sessions\n- Document brief session notes\n- Track simple outcomes\n- Identify scope limits and escalate/refer when needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling (students welcome)\nEmpathic listening, motivational interviewing, person-centred therapy skills\nComfortable with online databases/platforms
Preferred Qualifications
MI training/certification\nCoaching credentials (ICF/NBC-HWC)\nCustomer-facing support experience\nWeekday evenings/weekends availability\nSmall-group facilitation experience
